About
This self-paced program is designed to equip mentors working within The Village HUTS model—Healing, Uplifting, Transforming, Strengthening—with the essential mindset, skills, and strategies needed to guide youth and families through purposeful, faith-driven mentorship. Participants will explore the foundational principles of mentorship as outlined in the book, Reviving the Village: Mentorship As a Catalyst for Change, authored by our founder, Louis Jackson III. Through a blend of practical training, reflective exercises, and community-building activities, mentors will learn how to foster healing, uplift spirits, transform lives, and strengthen relationships within their communities. The curriculum emphasizes personal growth, effective communication, and the development of leadership qualities, ensuring that mentors are fully prepared to make a lasting impact. By the end of the program, participants will be empowered to serve as catalysts for positive change, supporting youth and families in their journey toward wholeness and purpose.
